Barcelona Race Report
After two months of training, Elliot is back on track in Barcelona. The circuit is slippery, and tire wear is high.
On Friday, lap times improved slightly despite a lack of pace. The team tested various setup options.
Saturday’s qualifying session went very well: despite two red flags, Elliot secured 9th place in his category.
Race 1 took place under intense heat. His start was average, but with a steady pace, he managed to gain two positions and finished 7th.
On Sunday, he had a great start and was able to stay with the right group.
However, tire degradation was higher than expected. Elliot struggled to keep up and had a close call near the end of the race.
He crossed the line in 12th position.
Later, it was revealed that a mechanical issue was causing a gradual loss of engine power.
The weekend was salvaged thanks to strong performances in both qualifying and the races.
