Elliot kicks off his 600cc season in Jerez with Team AIPAR
Elliot launched his 2025 season in Jerez with his new Spanish team, AIPAR, stepping up to the 600cc class on a Yamah, a big change from his previous 250, with significantly more power.
With 36 riders on the grid, including 20 in the stock category, the competition was intense. Unstable weather limited his track time on a wet circuit, but despite that.
Elliot managed to qualify 9th in the stock class.
In race one, he got off to a strong start and put in a solid opening lap.
Lacking training on dry ground, he lacked pace. He nevertheless finished 14th.
Race two was off to an even better start, Elliot gained several positions right away. But just as things were heating up, two riders crashed in front of him, forcing him into the gravel.
He rejoined the race, kept pushing, improved his lap times, and crossed the line 11th in his category after a great comeback.
A weekend full of valuable learning, with plenty of positives for the season ahead.
